We are looking for a driven and motivated Jr. Payments Data Analyst/ Intern to join our dynamic, hybrid team. This role offers the unique opportunity to be a key contributor to our growth and success.

You will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our data analytics product, understanding payments performances while directly impacting our clients’ ability to optimize their payment processes. As we scale, you will have the chance to evolve into a leadership position and shape the future direction of our company.

• Collaborate with the analytics team to extract, clean, and preprocess payment and transaction data.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis on merchant performance, payment trends, and platform monitoring metrics.
• Assist in creating dashboards and visualizations using tools like Grafana, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Identify anomalies, trends, and opportunities in payment data to support decision-making.
• Contribute to the development of reports for clients and internal needs.
• Ensure data integrity by identifying and addressing inconsistencies or errors.
• Analyze payment success rates, chargebacks, and other key metrics.
• Summarize key findings and present them in clear, actionable formats.
• Monitor payment platform metrics for anomalies or irregularities.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the payments, fintech, or e-commerce industries (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, querying and experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of basic statistical methods and their application in data analysis.
• Exposure to working with large datasets and handling data quality issues.
• Understanding of basic data engineering concepts, such as ETL processes or API integrations (a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Proactive approach to learning and applying new tools or concepts.
• A curious and innovative mindset with a passion for fintech and data-driven decision-making.
• For interns: availability for 20-40 hours per week, depending on the internship duration.
