Logistics Surface Manager (m/f/d) for Airbus

We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Operations and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Logistics Surface Manager" (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• Focal point for surface and storage relevant initiatives in strong coordination with operational Logistics and Project teams
• Enable the Ramp-Up by developing our surface potentials via densification, reshaping or automatization of storage areas
• Actively perform risk and opportunity management together with the team, be the owner of our Logistics Surface Strategy and ensure constant alignment with our key stakeholders
• Lead the surface perimeter in logistics projects (e.g. work package lead), including planning and implementation of new storage solutions
• Manage and monitor CapEx and OpEx needs and phasing
• Be the interface to General Procurement and actively support the Call-for-Tender process for the planning and sourcing of storage solutions
• Planning logistics flows, layouts, storage solutions for new warehouses or improve existing warehouse concepts

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of engineering, Business administration, supply chain or a comparable qualification
• More than three years of professional experience in the field of manufacturing/production, supplier Management, project management and supply chain/logistics 
• Good knowledge of Change Management
• Knowledge of Google Workspace
• Fluent in English and German
