We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Operations and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Procurement Manager" (m/f/d).

 

 

Your tasks:

  • Manage projects in coordination with the multifunctional team to meet requirements like financial adherence
  • Develop and deploy the commodity strategy using the Airbus Commercial and Airbus procurement strategy and policy
  • Contribute to company cost improvement programs by identifying opportunities, coordinating activities and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Supervise and support Transfer of Work activities for the market and suppliers
  • Manage risks related to suppliers and define appropriate mitigation actions
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensure contract change management, supported by contract specialist and verify consistency between contract terms and conditions, and the information system at Airbus
  • Support and contribute to supplier development initiatives corresponding to the actual and future supplier performance
  • Perform regular supplier reviews and assessments
  • Support and contribute to definition of development targets and work towards meeting goals
  • Supplier enablement and Demand management
  • Support end-to-end management of the aluminium through continuous monitoring of aluminium demand evolution, optimizing demand allocation to maximize Airbus savings, analysing of Enabled Suppliers Demand changes and the identification of potential contractual breaches and mitigations proposal

 

 

Your profile:

  • Completed studies in the field of engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • More than two years of professional experience in purchasing, customer service, supplier management and contract management
  • Basic knowledge of project management
  • Good knowledge of MS-Excel and MS-Word
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
